Cannabis marketing agency

Meta says no to cannabis. We've kept cannabis ads running since 2016.

Meta ads that stay live, the pages they land on, then email, search and social for cannabis and THCa brands. One team, one dashboard.

Sound familiar?

You sell cannabis. Meta treats every ad like a drug deal.

Right now

Ads rejected, limited or stuck in review for days.

An account disabled for 'drugs' when you sell seeds, grow lights or glass.

Spend goes up, results go down, and the reviews get stricter.

Every lost account means starting again from zero.

With us

Your ads run on strong accounts from official Meta partners, never your own page or Business Manager.

If an account goes down, we move to a new one on the same pixel and keep your data.

Ads and pages built for how Meta reads cannabis, so they stay live and keep selling.

The rules

Meta's rules say no. Here's what that means in practice.

Meta's written policy says no to promoting cannabis and most related products. That wall is real. Cannabis brands still reach buyers on Meta every day, when the ad and the page are built for how Meta checks them.

  • Meta judges the whole ad at once: the picture, the words, the label on the pack and the page behind it. It's rarely one word.
  • Video gives you more room than a still picture.
  • The page is where the selling happens, and where most cannabis accounts get caught. So we build the page as carefully as the ad.
  • On Meta the ad picks the audience. A vague ad finds vague buyers, so watered-down ads cost you twice.

Two routes

Watered-down cannabis ads don't sell. That's why we built the direct route.

On Meta, clean-only cannabis ads and pages did badly for the brands we ran. The ad has to make an offer and show the product, and the first click has to land on a page that says everything.

The clean route

The ad stays clean and a clear age pop-up checks the visitor before the shop. It suits some brands and markets, with its own trade-offs.

The direct route

On some Meta campaigns, Meta's checking bots and bot clicks see a safe, plain page, while real buyers who clicked land on the page built to sell.

It also keeps bot clicks off your bill. Meta only.

We have never lost an ad account to Meta's rule against cloaking.

Across the cannabis trade

Seed banks to smoke shops. If Meta calls it cannabis, we've run it.

How we judge the ads

Cannabis buyers come back. Judge your ads on that.

The first order pays back what it cost to win the customer. The profit comes from the orders after. So we judge your ads on cost per customer against what that customer spends over time, never on the first sale alone.

That's why email and retention sit next to the ads: more repeat orders mean you can afford to pay more for each new buyer.

How we start

From the first call to ads that keep running.

  • 1. A free 30-minute call about your brand, your ads and what's been pulled.
  • 2. A written proposal with the plan and the price for your business.
  • 3. Research into your buyers, then an audit of your ads and pages.
  • 4. Launch on strong accounts, then fresh ads as the old ones tire.

Your dashboard

Straight answers

What cannabis brands ask us on the first call.

Simon and Michael with coffees in the office
Can I advertise cannabis on Facebook and Instagram?

Meta's written rules say no to promoting cannabis. Cannabis brands still run on Meta with us today: the ads are built for how Meta checks them, they run on strong accounts from official Meta partners, and we pick the clean or direct route per brand.

What can I show in a cannabis ad?

Meta judges the picture, the words, the pack and the page together, so there's no single safe list. We plan each ad as a whole, and video usually gives more room than a still.

My shop sells seeds or glass, not THC. Why was I disabled?

Meta's checks lump seeds, grow lights and glass in with drugs. We build the ads and pages so the account reads as what you sell.

Is it different for THC products and CBD?

Yes. Meta treats THC products and hemp CBD differently, and the wording that works for one can sink the other. Our CBD and hemp page covers that side.

Do you work with dispensaries or brands?

Both. We work with dispensaries, like Apotheca in the past and Legal Leaf today, and with brands and online shops across the cannabis trade, from seed banks to smoke shops.

Do you use cloaking?

On some Meta campaigns, when it suits the brand. Clean-only cannabis ads did badly for the brands we ran, which is why we built the direct route. We have never lost an ad account to Meta's rule against cloaking.

What happens if an ad account goes down?

It's rare. We move your campaigns to a new account on the same pixel, so your data stays, and relaunch. Meta needs a short time to relearn.

How much does it cost, and is there a contract?

Price and ad spend are set for your business on the call and written into your proposal. No long-term contracts, and no forecasts to win your business.
